I got something new!: WEN Hair Care + Rimmel 60 Seconds

As previously stated, I just got WEN Sweet Almond Mint Conditioner, Balm, and Styling Cream.

The conditioner... I do like how my hair feels after using it, although the directions state to use half the bottle on your hair at once. I did this the first time I used it, but cut that to about half from then on. It still makes my hair feel soft using less. As long as it covers my hair, which is long, that's all that matters I think. So yes, it makes my hair softer. If you value that, then it's worth it. I won't be purchasing a bottle anytime soon. I'll use mayo instead. This smells A LOT better, so that's definitely a plus. I love mint hair products.

The Styling Cream I like also. It makes my hair feel good.

BUT...the Texture Balm. It is horrendous. I wanted to wash my hair again. Maybe this is an evil plan to use the other half of the conditioner immediately? It left super grease and I didn't use very much of it.
So, there's your honest opinion of these WEN Hair Care items. Not worth it in my opinion.

NEXT... Rimmel 60 Second Polish. I have color #210, Mintilicious. I suppose I'm having a minty day on here. This color is fabulous and I think the polish is awesome. I got it for .48 by using coupons so it was definitely worth it.

It really does dry fast and lasts better than most polishes found at WalMart.

There you have it. Thanks for reading! More to come.

Pore Strips &. Gelatin and Milk Face Mask

I came across this recipe for homemade pore strips years ago, and it works alarmingly well. I use it as more of a mask around the "t zone" and the results are like a horror movie for someone like me. The only ingredients you need are a packet of unflavored gelatin found near Jello in the grocery, and milk. Mix half a packet of the gelatin with 1-2 tablespoons of milk. This will be a creamy liquid texture. You microwave this for 10-20 seconds and apply to the face. I use an extra makeup brush to apply it. The smell isn't the best. I leave this on around 30 minutes. It tightens a lot when it dries, and peels off sometimes in 1 piece if you apply it evenly enough. This is a harsh mask for some, as it pulls out every little hair along with the impurities, but I love how it makes my skin feel to have that crud out.

I have used Biore Pore Strips before several times and they work so-so in my opinion. I never feel like they take out enough. Plus, they aren't cheap and I am a couponer so that does not make me very happy spending that kind of money for something I can do for $1.

Have you tried this mask recipe before? Let me know!

Next up, I just received Wen hair care products. Will my hair fall out like I keep reading about? I hope not!

Color Club Nail Polish

Nothing makes me happier than a one coat and done polish. I've had some Color Club nail polish for months now, and I decided today to share with the world how I feel about it: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It is my go-to for a quick polish and head out the door. I see no reason to do a second coat, ever. The Molten Steel color (blue) is truly frickin' amazing.

I'm fond of the color blue as it is, but this is probably my absolute favorite bottle of polish in my collection. I will weep for days when it runs out. I need more colors from this brand. Give it a try!

I got something new! - OPI Liquid Sand

I got something new, and I'm gonna talk about it. I have one of the 6 colors in the OPI Bond Girls Collection. All 6 of these polishes are part of the Liquid Sand formula by OPI. You can buy them as a collection or you can buy them individually by clicking here. Individually these are $9 on Drugstore.com. May as well get the whole collection, tho, as I am craving the the remaining polishes now. I love the texture and the polish glides on beautifully and flawlessly. I tried the Honey Ryder color and it is a big hit for me.

I'm more fond of silver as opposed to gold, but I love this color.

It looks beautiful on nails and has a lasting finish. I do a lot of housework, dishes included, and it held up better than your average polish. That is a huge plus for me. This stuff really is liquid gold.

Review: Lady Gaga Fame

So me and my bestie both have Lady Gaga's Fame perfume. What badass doesn't want black perfume? Plus, the lid doubles as a possible murder weapon. The appearance attracted me for sure, and I also enjoy the smell. It reminds me of chocolate plus yummy. My family says it smells like an "old woman" perfume, but that's fine with me as I usually use Estee Lauder Pleasure Intense. I like it tho and would possibly get it again when I go thru this bottle I have.

So, if you've smelled this, what are your thoughts?
