What I'm Making for Thanksgiving

I'll be making one of my favorite recipes for our family's get-together this year: Apple Dumplings. These ones are made with crescent rolls and Mountain Dew, and are super easy to make. I have made these a few times over the past year and they always turn out amazing.

Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings

  • 6-8 apples, peeled, cored, cut up in big chunks
    2 cans crescent rolls
    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 tbsp. cinnamon
    1 can Mt. Dew

    Grease a 13x9 pan.
Wrap each apple chunk with a crescent roll and lay in the pan. Next melt the butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix and pour over the dumplings. Pour the can of Dew over the butter/sugar/cinnamon mixture and cover with foil. Bake till golden brown (around 30 minutes) at 350°F.

These are absolutely delicious and easy so you should give them a try.
